Creative Kids – Boley Park Pre-school

Free Online Zoom Pre-school for our children

Throughout lockdown caused by COVID-19, we have been providing free online sessions to support our families at home during this difficult period.

Staff have kindly volunteered their time twice a week to maintain contact, continue learning and offer ideas. A Monday session for our older children and school leavers has been focusing on a letter and number of the week; every Thursday session has been song and story time open to all children. We’ve had fun together singing lots of songs with Makaton signs and reading favourite stories, with a focus on letter and number of the week, and suggest loads of fun activities for children to try at home.

During our Zoom sessions for parents and children, we looked at the letters “H”, “R”, “M”, “D”, “G”, “O”, “U” and suggested activities that children can have a go at such as making various items relating to the letter or story. We have created a Whatsapp group for parents to share information, ideas, and photographs of their child’s wonderful creations.
