After our bumper crop of potatoes, children have been developing patience waiting for our strawberries and tomatoes to ripen. There was great excitement with our first strawberry, which children decided to gift to our butterflies, newly emerged from their cocoons.
Since our caterpillars arrived in the post, children have been fascinated watching the lifecycle of our butterflies. We are hoping our butterflies will revisit the pre-school garden now that they are set free!
